We are extremely disappointed to announce that in line with national Government Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance to reduce social interaction we have decided to cancel Stockton Stages for 2020.

We appreciate this will be disappointing to many people, but hope you understand that this is the responsible thing to do.

Raise A(nother) Glass

Following on from last year’s sold out spectacular, table top singer songwriter Mike McGrother AKA The Wild Rover presents another evening telling the stories of Teesside’s community. Inspired by Mike’s regular Joe’s Speakeasy* reminiscence events, prepare to meet some (extra)ordinary Teesside men and women as their lives are re-told through songs, stories and visual projection.

Together with his Haverton Hillbillies and Infant Hercules Choir, Mike will undoubtedly move you to tears and laughter in equal measure in an unforgettable night of Teesside storytelling and pride.

So pull up a chair, pour a drink and join us as we ‘Raise A(nother) Glass!’.

*Joe’s Speakeasy began in memory of Joe Hall – a man who introduced himself with the words, ‘no-one is interested in my stories’. Following Joe’s death in 2017, the pub based get togethers have become weekly sessions of laughter, storytelling and singing in Stockton and Darlington. Joe’s Speakeasy is also soon to be launching in Middlesbrough and Redcar.
